Could Labor Be Close?

It’s hard to believe that my pregnancy is nearly complete, Justin and I have been in India over a year and 2010 is just around the corner. It’s difficult to tell if labor is near, but I think it may be close. I woke up last night with a dull backache as well as an upset stomach. I just wanted to get back to sleep, but nothing seemed to help. Around 3:25am I took a long hot shower and tried to relax. My stomach was still cramped and I spent quite a while in the bathroom if you get my drift. Finally, I fell back asleep and woke up again about two hours later. I told Justin I was having some of the symptoms of early labor, but nothing too major. I have been having contractions, but none with enough regularity worth noting. I have been doing a bit of reading, but ultimately it has been frustrating because “every pregnancy is different” so these signs could mean labor will kick in within a day or may still be a week away. I’m trying not to get too excited, but I just wanted to keep everyone posted. I hope labor it coming soon, wish me luck.

I am so glad to hear from you. Jay and I were talking last night and neither of us had heard back from you, even though we left messages/emails.
I really hate that we cannot all be close at this time, but it will be Ok. You have Justin there, and the good doctor and hospital. Please keep us updated more often as this month is BABY MONTH.

Sorry Mom... everything is still fine. I'm feeling more normal today which is a little annoying, never thought I'd be saying that. Speaking of annoying, our computer has been having some major problems and we ended up doing a System Restore just to get it up and running. It wouldn't even boot up. We also didn't realize that our Skype account (This is what I use to call home.) had expired. It's already been a year?!? Anyway, everything is up and running again. I went in for what may be one of my last appointments, and everything still seems fine. Now we all just wait I guess.
Hope your internet stays running, as I am looking forward to MORE updates than I have been seeing recently. And you had better call dad or I when you guys go into the hospital too!! We want to be a part of this experience as much as is possible long distance!
